Deirdre is an emerging singer-songwriter with distinct vocal qualities. The clarity, soulfulness and power of her vocals have been compared to the likes of Alison Krauss, Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris and Adele, among others. Deirdre draws inspiration from a vast variety of artists. She herself creates melodic, poetic stories that are drenched in descriptive language and raw, personal recollections. She is based in Asbury Park, NJ. 

She is an award-winning singer-songwriter and recording artist. In 2012 she was awarded Top Female Songwriter at the Jersey Acoustic Music Awards. She has been nominated for several awards for Female Vocalist in various award ceremonies. She has played at venues throughout NJ, PA & NY, including The Stone Pony, The Bitter End, The Saint & the Legendary Dobbs. Deirdre has worked with artists of varying genres, lending her voice to several bands and recording projects. Deirdre can be found playing at local venues with her Folk Rock Duo The May Darlings and solo on her ukulele.

In 2014, she released her self-produced indie album, Weathered Woes. She is currently working on a highly anticipated solo project with acclaimed, Grammy Nominated producer Steve Greenwell.
